  1. 1 Choose or drop one JPG, PNG, or WebP image.

  3. 3 Resize locally, review the preview, and download the generated image.

Useful for

  • Preparing one image for a story, banner, or social post without opening a design app
  • Fitting mismatched aspect ratios into a fixed frame with a chosen background color
  • Making quick creator and marketing assets while keeping the original file local

Good to know

  • This first version uses contain mode only and does not crop or reposition the image.
  • Platform size recommendations can change over time, so presets are practical defaults rather than live guarantees.
  • Resizing re-encodes the image, so metadata may be removed and output file size can become smaller or larger than the original.

Questions

Social Image Resizer FAQ

Does the Social Image Resizer upload my image?

No. The image is decoded, resized, previewed, and exported entirely inside your browser. Utilshub does not receive the file.

Do these presets guarantee every platform will accept the image?

No. The presets are practical default sizes for common placements, but social platforms can change recommendations, file-size rules, or crop behavior over time.

Does this tool crop my image to fill the frame?

No. This first version uses contain mode only, so the whole image stays visible and any extra space is filled with the selected background color.

Why did the output file size change so much?

The tool re-encodes the image after resizing. Output format, quality, transparency, and browser canvas encoding can make the result smaller or larger than the original.
